Welcome to the Stamford 20s & 40s Meetup! We are a relaxed, friendly group focused on meeting new people, making friends, and having a great time together. We have a variety of events lined up, with new ones added regularly, and we’d love to see you at one soon.

Everyone gets a 60-day welcome period to come to an event and see if we're a good fit. After that, it's just £5 a year to help keep the community running.

To make sure this group stays a welcoming and safe environment for everyone, we ask all members to follow a few core community guidelines:

Be kind and respectful: Treat others the way you’d like to be treated. We want this to be a space where everyone feels completely comfortable.

Keep RSVPs up to date: Our organizers volunteer their own free time to plan and host these events. We completely understand that life happens and plans change, but please update your RSVP or drop a comment if you can no longer make it. This helps us manage bookings and lets other people take your spot!

Look out for each other: Member safety is our top priority. If anyone in the group ever makes you feel uncomfortable or harassed, please report it immediately to Simon, Lisa, Ben or Ashleigh. If an organizer makes you feel uncomfortable, please reach out to one of the others. We take these reports seriously, and anyone acting inappropriately will be removed.

Want to host an event? If an event you want to run isn't already covered, speak to an organizer with your ideas and we can may be able to help you set it up.

If you’d like to read further details, you can check out the group event page. Otherwise, jump right in! We have a group WhatsApp where you can introduce yourself (pictures of pets always welcome!) and join the conversation here: https://chat.whatsapp.com/Ka1ilYfjbrg3F9garXA137

We can't wait to meet you and hope you have a great time!
