What we’re about
Are you a people pleaser? Do you cave? Can you make eye contact? Is standing up for yourself an issue? Are you timid?
I can train you out of it.
With fun, informative, and interactive improv “games,” we will navigate the space where you get too overwhelmed to assert yourself. This comes in different forms for different people. Some struggle at work while others suffer in romantic relationships. Some have problems with family and some with friends.
Either way, somewhere the assertion is lost and at the end of it all you end up looking like a pussy.
No one wants that.
This class is intended to train you out of your people pleasing, your fawn response, your sense of being overwhelmed. I want you to be able to navigate confrontation without getting overwhelmed. I want you to be able to breathe through the event and maintain your original goal you started with.
For years I searched the question, ‘how do you train confrontation? How do you train your way out of a fawn response?’ My answer is this class. I am a student here just as much as your teacher.
This class IS NOT group therapy. We are here to PRACTICE ACTION, not discuss our feelings. It’s not my place nor within my realm of expertise to run a group therapy session as I am not a therapist; I am a life coach and an investor.
The class is designed to get intense. I don’t want this experience or space to be a comfortable one. I want this class to be something that both challenges and educates you. While some of the games are fun, the objective here is always the same; maintain your sense of assertion at all times. You will do this by standing up for yourself in an appropriate manner.
Ready to change those timid habits once and for all? Want your peers to see you as someone who’s strong and in control of their lives? Want people to know undeniably that you have entered the room and when you speak, they need to listen?
Let’s get to it!
