More context

Up until Bitcoin price reached its peak in Dec 2017, crypto news and developments were dominated by new ICO projects, new tokens launched, trading and exchanges. Two years on, with roughly 65+ million crypto wallets worldwide now, are we finally ready for the mass adoption on the crypto payment front?

Merchant adoption is crucial. Development earlier on focused more on bridging between the crypto and fiat worlds (e.g. MCO Visa Card by Crypto.com). Momentum is building in retail and ecommerce. Overstock recently announced they will accept major altcoins (since accepting Bitcoin in 2014); WooCommerce is working with Crypto.com to integrate their crypto payments checkout plugin for their 500,000 merchants. At this meet-up we talk to some of the leaders on the driving force behind.
