We’ve seen how spirituality can be corrupted and co-opted, like spiritual materialism where spiritual practices are hoarded and lorded over others, and spiritual bypassing where high-minded states are given to escapism and victimhood. True spirituality brings love and miracles that really work for everyone. Folks on the spiritual path often get specialized with excitable jargon and techniques. That’s fine if we understand that one size won’t fit all. Let everyone find their own inspiration and vocabulary, because everyone has their own connection to the living loving Universe and Source of all life. Each consciousness is in fact the entire Universe experiencing itself from its own unique perspective. Thus, spirituality is the ultimate test of tolerance for diversity in harmony. Every being is different and priceless in its own infinite wisdom uniquely in connection with everything else.

You are your own most beautiful contribution to Creation, which only you can forever discover by letting your heart – the seat of the soul – call you to what makes you happiest in life. Yes, the goal of life is happiness, fun, joy and play! As they say, angels fly because they take themselves lightly. So never let your inner or outer critics make you feel inferior for not doing what others do. Jealousy and insecurity don’t make you a bad person, they just show you’re not yet enjoying who you really are. Trust the Source to bring all good things together perfectly for you in divine timing. The Source knows how to combine everything you need including what you like, what you’re good at, what you’ve experienced, what the world needs, what brings you health and wealth, what feels good, what makes you lovable, and where you’ll be secure with best friends forever.

For too long spirituality has been considered something elite for a special few, like the 144 thousand, whoever that means. Reality is symbolic with meanings that you assign to help you grow, so only take what works for you. The only way to become the chosen one is to choose yourself! Choose yourself to love and cherish, to care for and get to know forever. True spirituality is a path of falling in love with the ever-clarifying universe that you are. Creation just wants to help discover your own way of using everything for love. Even negativity has a use for love, which is simply to not do it. As the Dalai Lama says, if you can’t help someone at least don’t hurt them. The start of love is knowing how you could hurt someone and you choose not to.

Spirituality is very practical. It’s the art of living in two worlds and bringing them together with your own way to love. There really isn’t supposed to be an afterlife, since nothing ever dies and it’s all here now. You’re an eternal infinite quantum energy field that you enter in dreams, meditations, and whenever you leave your body. You’re also a finite physical creature whose health and happiness come from how your beliefs interact with your field. The modern world with so many problems is like a clock that’s run down, and your love is what you need to wind it up again. At first spirituality can seem like a curse with dark nights of the soul and shadow work. But this isn’t about being perfect or impressing anyone. Spirituality is the answers you need to apply to your life to live a little better each day.

For this meeting, think about times in your life when you feel most spiritual and hopeful, and other times when you do not. Can you imagine connecting both in solutions just for you? After check-ins to share and relate, I’ll contrast the two basic directions in life of negative materialism (hell) and positive spirituality (heaven), and how the beliefs we hold teleport us back and forth. I’ll share happy views on spiritual growth, from basics of self-acceptance for emotional healing to manifesting in the multiverse. We’ll conclude with a guided meditation to strengthen your connection to your higher self who wants to guide and take care of you in joy forever.
