Startup Advantage [February - Covington]

As we announced in December, the Startup Advantage series is going regional in 2012! Monthly gatherings will rotate between Lexington, N.KY/Cincinnati and Louisville in 2012.

The February 8th meeting will be in Covington, KY (details below) and we want to make sure we make a strong showing from Central Kentucky! Startup Advantage is designed to foster a healthy startup culture in the region by bringing together entrepreneurs, mentors and investors in a laid-back atmosphere to share stories and experiences.

The February meeting will be held at Keystone Bar & Grill (313 Greenup Street, Covington, KY 41011). A panel of speakers you won’t want to miss will answer your questions about beginning a Startup (email those questions to naashom.marx@nkadd.org ). Afterwards, hang out, enjoy some free food, buy yourself a drink and meet some of the most interesting people in a 2,500 square mile area!

We’re trying to get a headcount of those that want or plan to attend so please register at http://startupslamfeb2012.eventbrite.com/ . If we get enough people planning to go we may get a small bus to take us all up for the event.

The mission of Startup Advantage is to strengthen the regional tech community by bringing together entrepreneurs, mentors, and investors, and exposing them to the latest thinking in building successful businesses. By rotating between the region’s three entrepreneurial hubs the Startup Advantage series encourages the regions entrepreneurial community to get to know one another and collaborate beyond their respective local communities. The series will provide speakers on topics ranging from the role of founders and entrepreneurs to marketing and sales to raising capital.
