This meetup is an easy 60-min bike ride followed by dinner at a startup accelerator with pitches from 3 IoT startups.

About Orange Silicon Valley and Orange Fab startup accelerator
Orange Silicon Valley (http://www.orangesv.com/) is the San Francisco Bay Area division of Orange, one of the world’s leading telecommunications operators. We actively engage with San Francisco and Silicon Valley, and participate in the disruptive innovations changing the way we communicate, including through the Orange IoT Studio (http://orangeiotstudio.com/).

Orange Fab (http://orangefab.com/) is a startup accelerator program within Orange Silicon Valley. It’s a three-month program that works with exceptional startups that are changing how people connect and communicate. The goal is to help early-stage startups based in the U.S. grow their businesses and build innovative products and services that improve people’s lives.

Wendy Qi from Sentri (http://sentri.me/), Andrew Byrnes from Stower (http://stowerenergy.com/), and Mehrdad Majzoobi from BitLock (http://bitlock.co/) will talk about their startups and experience in Orange Fab. At Sentri, they’re on a mission to create safer and smarter homes by developing products that re-define the relationship we each have with our homes. Stower designs and builds reliable, sustainable energy systems for individuals and homes. BitLock is offering a new form of distributed bike and e-bike sharing with its locking/telematics technology, rental applications, and fleet management software.

We always ensure a safe space indoors to securely lock our bikes. We'll post about the ride on Twitter (https://twitter.com/search?src=typd&q=%23startupbike) with the hashtag #StartupBike.

About the rain
It's been raining a lot, which is great for Bay Area reservoirs but difficult for our ride, so here's our game plan. Please plan on the regular ride followed by dinner. If the weather looks threatening on the day of the ride, then we'll still do the dinner and startup pitches, but not the ride. Fortunately, Orange is next to the Embarcadero BART.
