We will be introducing projects for you to get involved with during the pitches. There is no group like this on Meetup or in the startup world because we filter out the BS and get you going on a project ASAP. No judges, no winner, and no time-consuming feedback.

If you are looking to start, join, or help a tech startup, this event is for you! Startup founders pitch their business to the audience (similar to Shark Tank). Then, each founder gets a breakout room and you can them to give feedback or continue building it (similar to a hackathon). People have been able to start and advance their business as a result of this process.

Agenda
11:00am – 11:10am
While we wait for people to trickle in, we introduce ourselves personally and go to every attendee and chat with them, getting to know them and what they are looking for.

11:10am – 11:30am
Founders have 3 minutes to tell us about their businesses and their biggest needs. The pitches have no Q&A - any questions can be asked in the breakouts and people can move to different breakouts after some time.

11:30am – Onward
The breakouts are free-form and participation depends on whatever the parties involved is ready to commit to or contribute, and that is all that is expected. If they just want to workshop it, that’s fine. Onboarding and building live is better, but don’t feel forced.

Startup Oasis was created to pierce the illusion of accessibility of startups and tech by creating a grassroots forum for early-stage founders to pitch to those in the tech ecosystem to get real-time feedback for their idea or business.
