#86: Berachain vs. Solana - Why you should know them before the 2nd DeFi Summer?

Bitcoin continues to break record highs, reaching $72,000. Solana has also risen to its highest point over two years: $150. The market's optimism is continually increasing, bringing the anticipation of a second DeFi Summer, illustrating dreams, and creating hope for numerous degens.

Among the many emerging Layer 1s (L1s), Berachain stands unique: born out of an NFT project with secretive founders and advocating "Proof-of-liquidity." Up to now, Berachain has raised $42 million.

Solana also has many NFTs, which is certainly not why it draws attention. Since the end of '23, Solana's popularity has skyrocketed, peaking with Jupiter's airdrop. The upcoming airdrops for major projects in April are attracting more people and liquidity.
