3D Printing Meetup

Are you interested in learning how to 3D print? Are you a 3D printing guru and want to show off your latest creations? Are you looking for someone to do some 3D printing for you? This 3D printing meetup is a welcoming no-judgement group for people at all skill levels who want to explore or share anything related to 3D printing. Come out and bring your creations and ideas for show and tell!

We thought it would be nice to try something different for this meetup, so we have arranged a tour of the Edmonton Public Library Makerspace. They have a number of 3D printers that the public can use, as well as a number of other useful resources. Recently, the makerspace staff have set up a Printrbot Play for the purpose of teaching members of the public how to directly operate this machine – so that sounds like a great tool for us to play with...

The makerspace has recently relocated, so they are not currently in the main downtown branch, but are nearby. They are located 5 blocks from Startup Edmonton. Unfortunately, this space is smaller, so they can only host 15 attendees, so the space for this meetup is more limited than usual. We will meet at the makerspace for this meetup, rather than the usual Startup Edmonton room.
