How do our online meetups work?

This meetup will be a guided "Junto" style presentation and interactive discussion. The presenters will start, but this is an opportunity for every member of the community to talk, discuss, and share. We always keep our events extremely interactive and focused on mutual improvement, so be prepared to introduce yourself and be able to ask question(s) to the group.

Peter Mellen is Founder and CEO of Netcito, a company that helps entrepreneurs thrive by convening peer advisory groups that unleash the collective power of shared connection, inspiration, and accountability. He also serves in a variety of other roles that include advising and investing in startups, leading entrepreneur networks, and managing a family-owned portfolio of commercial real estate.

In addition to working with entrepreneurs, Peter served on the Board of Directors for the Tides Network from 2010-2020, where he helped to grow annual revenue from $150 million to over $1 billion. Earlier in his career, he co-founded Headlight, an online learning pioneer that raised over $15 million of venture capital from Silicon Valley investors that included Draper Fisher Jurvetson and the Band of Angels. Following the sale of Headlight, Peter led online learning initiatives in intrapreneurial roles at Pearson Education and AOL.

Jim Shulman has enjoyed a long and distinguished career in sales, ranging from auto restoration equipment to china parties for young women to natural, herbal-based personal lubricants to fundamentalist Christian women (that last one found him, not the other way around!) He has published product catalogs in runs exceeding five million copies, created a new public television series, developed a wildly successful product line in the collectables field, and since 2000 has exclusively coached
successful entrepreneurs around the world. When he’s not helping business owners break the isolation of leadership he can be found driving around the country in his 1957 Dodge Custom Royal sedan.
