Our interactive and informative sessions will give you access to legal experts in the areas of business, online law, employment, and intellectual property law. A 15-minute presentation will be devoted to the multiple topics mentioned above and there is plenty of scheduled time for questions from the audience. About the Speakers

Daniela Lungu, founder of the Law Offices of Daniela Lungu, devotes her law practice to asset protection through estate and business planning. Henrik Spang-Hanssen has been living in the U.S. for more than 8 years and was in 2010 by the U.S. Immigration office issued a green card as an "alien of extraordinary ability in science” (Public international Law and Computer Networks/Internet). He has done research and taught at universities in Europe and the U.S. He is the author of amongst others: Public International Computer Network Law Issues (2006), Cyberspace & International Law on Jurisdiction (2004) & Cyberspace Jurisdiction in the U.S. (2001).He have been used as expert at international conferences. From 1985-1998, he had his own law firm in Copenhagen, Denmark. He has a Master degree in Law from Santa Clara University (2005). As professor, he has been teaching courses on business organization and business-negotiations.

Barbara Taylor is a UK attorney specializing in employment law and strategic HR solutions. She provides creative, client-focused advice to UK, European and international clients on a range of employment law matters including, litigation and mediation, dispute resolution, employment law aspects of mergers, acquisitions and commercial transactions, employee relations matters, equality and anti-discrimination measures, contract negotiation and drafting, and management training and coaching. Prior to relocating to the San Francisco Bay Area, she worked as a senior associate attorney with DWF Biggart Baillie LLP, a top-tier UK commercial law firm, in their employment law team.

Robert Lord is a patent attorney and partner at Osha Liang LLP, who is registered by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. His practice focuses on patent prosecution, intellectual property litigation, portfolio management, client counseling, and licensing in the fields of software engineering, business methods and computer engineering. As a software developer, Mr. Lord worked on projects for the IRS, Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas, Baylor University, Southwestern Publishing/Dryden Press and Apple Computer. He has recently presented lectures on the following topics: "A Primer on Patents” (Cairo, Egypt) and “Protecting Software Innovation Today and Beyond” (UK) and written articles related to "Patent Prosecution for Litigators" and "Navigating the Details Behind Patent Law." Earlier this year, he was lead counsel who successfully obtained a General Exclusion Order and Cease & Desist Order from the U.S. International Trade Commission for a Canadian client against a Silicon Valley company that was found to be infringing the Canadian company’s valid U.S. patent in a process that lasted less than 18 months.
