DESCRIPTION: Hike through Anthony Chabot Regional Park. Enjoy a hike along the Lake Chabot shoreline including a sweeping view of the San Francisco Bay. This will be a new 6.5 mile loop route, with a total cumulative ascent of 1,200 feet. Current weather forecasts suggest mostly sunny skies, 58 to 68 degrees with an 8MPH breeze. There are no guarantees for a clear day, but I think the odds are on our side. Please check your favorite weather site for more details and updates prior to hike. Water is available at trailhead but not along hiker route. There are flush toilets at the trailhead and pit toilets at lunch location.

DIRECTIONS: Parking is free.
Please be prepared with at least two liters of water, snacks, layered clothing, hiking boots/shoes, sun screen and hat. Pack a lunch. If you normally use trekking poles, you may wish to bring them along.
