Communicating Boundaries to Invite Deeper Relationships

Details
How can we feel more secure and understood in our relationships with partners, friends, family, or even at work?
You might already know what you need or want, but another person in your life is not aware, or has misunderstood. In those cases there’s a gap. That gap is an opportunity to explore what keeps us from expressing ourselves clearly, and to learn how to speak our truth in a way that strengthens connection instead of creating distance.
In this session, we’ll explore:
- The unconscious stories or fears that make it hard to speak up
- What to consider before communicating a boundary (timing, tone, setting, and our own mental state)
- How to express boundaries with clarity and compassion
- What to do if your boundary is misunderstood or pushed against
This is not about rigid rules or ultimatums — it’s about learning to honor yourself while keeping the door open to real connection.
You’ll be guided through reflection prompts, group discussion, and supportive practice exercises to help build the confidence to communicate in a way that respects both yourself and others.
Whether you’ve been told you’re “too much” or “too quiet,” this is a compassionate space to reconnect with your voice — and your right to take up space with care.
