DnD 5E / Death House: The Cult of Osybus / Lawrenceville RPG Day 10
Details
The mirror has opened. The children have told their story. And beneath the manor, something far older than a haunting has been waiting for someone to find it.
Death House Part Two: The Cult of Osybus is a D&D 5e horror one-shot continuing from the legendary opening of Curse of Strahd. The Durst family's secrets have only deepened — masks, a mirror, a sword, blood-soaked clues scattered through the house above all pointed toward something buried beneath it. Now it's time to go down.
Below the manor lies a forgotten cult temple: ritual chambers, sealed crypts, and the architects of a corruption that outlasted the family that built it. Uncover what happened to Walter Durst. Confront what the cult left behind. Decide what you're willing to do when something ancient asks for a sacrifice.
- Horror-forward: investigation and exploration alongside challenging combat
- Heavier themes — this session deals with cult ritual and sacrifice
- Characters provided at level 3, ready to play
- Roleplay and moral choice woven through the dungeon crawl
Content note: This is a horror module with themes of ritual sacrifice. Players sensitive to horror content should know what they're walking into.
No prior experience with the module or the system required — you're stepping into the story already in motion, and the table will bring you up to speed. Pre-generated level 3 characters provided.
