Pathfinder 2E / Tanuki Trouble / Monroeville RPG Game Day
Details
The Pathfinder Society wants a lodge in the village. The tanuki have some errands first.
Tanuki Trouble is a Pathfinder Society Quest for Pathfinder 2e, part of the ongoing Pathfinder Quest series. Expect a lighthearted, roleplay-forward session with more negotiation than combat.
During the Year of Unfettered Exploration, disruptions to the extradimensional Maze of the Open Road opened a new route into a tanuki village in Minkai. The tanuki spent a while pranking travelers who wandered through — until Society agents got the better of them at their own games. Relations are good now, good enough that the Society wants to build a lodge on-site. The tanuki are willing, but only after a few favors get handled.
You'll play the agents stuck handling them.
- Comedic, roleplay-heavy Pathfinder Society Quest
- Trickster-flavored village setting, low-stakes and playful
- More negotiation and odd errands than combat
- All-ages table, welcoming to newer Society players
The lodge isn't built until the favors are. Get to it.
No experience with Pathfinder Society needed — pre-generated characters provided.
This table is co-hosted with the Pittsburgh Lodge's regular Pathfinder Society group. Sign up via their Warhorn if you want to bring your own character.
Prefer your favors sword-shaped? Check out other events happening for RPG Game Day.
