Alice is Missing / Brookline RPG Day
Details
Alice Briarwood is missing.
Nobody at the table says a word.
Alice is Missing is a GM-less mystery game played in near-total silence, with rules explained at the table.
Alice, a high school junior in the sleepy Northern California town of Silent Falls, has disappeared. You begin by creating your characters, how each of them knew her, and what ties you to one another. Then the talking stops. From there, you trade messages on your phones and piece together what happened, one clue at a time, while an ambient soundtrack plays.
GM-less, collaborative storytelling, played largely by text message. Bring your phone; headphones are encouraged.
Say nothing. Read everything. Somebody has to find out what happened to Alice.
Content notes: Game contains mature themes. Some control over the content of the game will be decided at the table.
No experience needed, and no prep: characters are created together at the start.
Prefer your mysteries a little louder? Check out other events happening for RPG Game Day.
