Heavenstrike / D&D 5e (2014)/ Lawrence Hall
Details
Rumors of necromancy are drifting through Gemme de Coquillon.
The capital is sending a team to find out why.
Heavenstrike is a D&D 5e (2014 rules) horror-mystery one-shot, built around investigation, conversation, survival and roleplay.
In the theocracy of Veyria, the faith of Dar leads all citizens toward the arcane. In the Fourvoyés, subordinate districts on its periphery, those few who go against the faith are given permits to settle. However, leaving is forbidden, worship of other gods is forbidden, and each Fourvoyé is governed by an installed Dar-worshipping magistrate.
When the local Law Keepers are out of their depth, a Dar Temple in the capital of Pris-Lusere assembles a delegation and grants it entry. You are that delegation, bound for the well-to-do seaside Fourvoyé of Gemme de Coquillon, a quaint town trapped between impenetrable mountains on one side and the hostile ocean on the other.
- Horror and mystery with a roleplay-heavy focus
- Investigate necromantic rumors in a coastal town
- Characters created at the table
- Homebrew world and mechanics!
Will your delegation uncover the truth? Somebody has to go and look.
Content notes: mature themes, swearing, horror/thriller, some gore.
Lvl 5 one-shot--some D&D experience heavily preferred. No prep: characters are created at the table (can be created in advance if wished, ask GM for details).
