Steel City Ukuleles promotes community, entertainment, performance and education among ukulele enthusiasts in the Greater Pittsburgh Area. All players are welcome, from beginners to professionals.
Steel City Ukuleles celebrates 15 years strumming, singing, friendship, performing and community.
EVERYONE IS INVITED
To the big Happy Hour (wine, beer, soft drinks and water), our famous, fabulous potluck supper and everybody-plays-the-uke-jam. Reserve your Thursday evening for a Steel City Ukuleles good time.
What: Annual SCU Birthday Party
When: Thursday, Aug 14
Time: 6:00-8:00 (5:30 set up)
Where: Breezeway Home in Point Breeze (down the street from The Frick Museum)

EVERYONE: Please bring a potluck dish to share-- appetizer, salad, entree, side or dessert. Bring a bottle of wine or beer to share if you like. Water, tea, soft drinks will be provided. SCU will also provide a cake and an entree.
Please list in the comments what you are bringing so we can balance out the courses. Plan on serving it in whatever you bring it in, there will not be serving platters from venue. They will provide all plates, cups, napkins and serving utensils.
After supper, there will be a jam. Bring your uke, guitar, penny whistle, whatever, a stand, yellow/blue books or iPad. Playlist will be our summer gig list for Make Music Day (already done) and Edgewood Community Day August 23 …. but you are also welcome to make suggestions!

Steel City Ukuleles at the Butler Airport!
SCU Butler Jams are held in the first-floor conference room of the Pittsburgh-Butler Regional Airport main building (right below Serventi's Restaurant).Players of all ages, skill levels, and styles are welcome! Whether you just want to listen, sing, or play a lead line, we'd love to have you there.
Songs will be shown on the screen in the conference room, but if you prefer, you can bring your music stand or tablet. A donation of $4.00 per person is appreciated.

No experience needed. Everyone of all ages is welcome. If you don’t know the chords, just sing louder. If you don’t have the music, someone will share with you. If you just want to watch, that’s great, too!
We have a great indoor venue to play our music. Arrive at 3:30 or earlier to set up, order, and talk; we will start playing promptly at 3:45 Great coffee and food available!
