Hike the Middle Fork of the Taylor Creek
Details
This route takes us past a number of interesting rock formations, a waterfall, and historic cabins to the beautiful Double Arch alcove. You'll start of the trail at the trailhead has a number of steep steps to begin with, however it does level out into a sandy trail through the canyons. Be prepared to cross the stream 15 times or more. This event is limited to 12 attendees.
This hike is 5.1 miles out and back with 633 feet of elevation gain. It is rated moderate and we will do it at a moderate pace. We will carpool from the Red Cliffs Mall at the point shown on the map. The drivers will need a NP pass. We may decide to go into Kanarraville for lunch after.If you have questions, contact me at 805-952-5766.
