broken mesa trail

6 miles, 800’ gain
this trail hikes up the ridge 400’ in one mile, then slopes down 400’ over the next 2 miles. here we will turn around and retrace our path back to the cars. it’s a pretty mesa with great views to the south and west. we follow the west rim for 4 of the 6 miles. the trail keeps going and connects to ice house, but I want to keep this one to 3 miles each way.
reviews say the trail is rocky.
I will wait until five minutes after, if not everyone is present. After that you will need to catch up. All times listed are utah time, MDT. Sorry, but STG social hikes are not dog friendly. Come enjoy some exercise and good conversation on the trail!
