Using the GPU, you can add incredible graphics to your web-based app from JS, making it look and feel like a native app. And the good news is there is no need for large libraries like a game engine; this can all be done with standard technologies and small libraries,

In this talk, I will start with a high-level description of the GPU and GLSL (its language), show how to use it from JS, demo a small example that creates a ‘Siri’ like halo effect on a plain button, and finally highlight a few libraries and getting started points.
