Last minute: Four lakes between Sollentuna & Täby
Let's explore four lakes between Sollentuna and Täby, in the nice Sunday weather! We will not follow a marked trail all the way, and instead go for the lakes Rösjön, Fjäturen, Käringsjön and Mörtsjön. This means that we will have to stay together, so no-one gets lost. "Only" 12 km and more than six hours so we can allow ourselves to be distracted and explore things like interesting nature, pick a few mushrooms, make a fire for lunch/longer stops, take/arrange some photos, perhaps someone wants to go for a swim, etc. Perhaps you want to share some knowledge about the nature with others? I could give some basic photography tips if there's interest. The pace will probably be a bit slow, with time to notice interesting things as we go. This will not be a normal hike with few stops and a nice high & even pace! If you dislike stops and having to adjust a bit to others who have found something interesting to explore, you might not like this hike. Bring clothing for the weather and adjust the clothing so you are comfortable, not hot during hiking and not cold during longer stops (it's not warm summer any more). Bring water, something to eat for lunch and at least one "fika". Might be nice to have something to barbecue, but a fire is not 100% guaranteed and don't count on some barbeque grid (grillgaller) or similar. You can of course bring something to sit on, snacks or what ever you might find useful or nice to bring along. We will meet around 10 o'clock at the Rösjöns badplats (sandy beach with jettys) around 300 m to the east of the Rösjön bus stop. There are buses from Sollentuna C (as well as Danderyds sjukhus) that reaches the Rösjön bus stop. This SL search can be adjusted for your needs: A map: The plan is to return to the same spot.

    What we're about

STHLM Outdoor (changed name from Stockholm Outdoor Enthusiasts) is a group for anyone that's interested in any kind of outdoor activity, whether it be hiking, climbing, mountain biking, mushroom picking, kayaking, camping or just plain forest walking etc. etc.. All skill levels are more than welcome. The group started as a way to meet other outdoor enthusiasts, experience together, learn from each other and to have a great time and that is the goal forward too!

Experienced people in a certain activity are very welcome to be hosting events. The goal is to have several events every week for people to attend, from bouldering to ice skating. Looking forward to exploring the outdoors with everybody!
