Peaceful Winter Hike on Svartsö Island ❄️ ⛴️

Svartsö is a serene island in the Stockholm archipelago, nestled between Möja and Ljusterö. Home to just 40 year-round residents, it offers a perfect winter escape and an ideal place for strolling its quiet gravel roads and soaking in the crisp, fresh air.

The walk will be about 10 km, between Alsvik and Söderboudd Ferry Docks

Note: We’ll keep a slightly faster pace and we may encounter a few tricky spots along the way, which could include slippery patches of ice.

Can I come if I'm not on the list?
We appreciate your interest, but our events are kept small intentionally. Unfortunately, we can't accommodate additional guests who aren't on the list. Thank you for understanding.

Costs
Please note that during the off-season, your 30-day SL ticket or any equivalent period ticket is valid for the ferry ride. If you don’t have one, please visit Waxholmsbolaget's website for pricing information.

Where to Meet
Let's meet at 11:15 in Boda Brygga, either in the ferry boarding queue or on the ferry itself.

Getting There by Bus
From Slussen at 10:18, take bus 438 toward Boda (stand L), arriving at Boda Brygga at 11:09. After a 6-minute walk, take ferry 13 toward Husarö via Gällnö, Svartsö, and Ingmarsö at 11:15. The 40-minute ferry ride arrives at Alsvik at 11:55.

Getting Back by Bus
From Söderboudd at 15:15, take ferry 13 toward Boda, arriving at Boda Brygga at 16:50. After a 5-minute walk, take bus 438 toward Slussen at 16:55, arriving at 17:52.
