About us

Welcome to the Stitch Socials and Sewing Workshop Collective. We started this group to create a relaxed, dependable space for people who want to spend more time at their sewing machines and less time struggling with patterns alone. Whether you are dusting off a machine you haven't touched in years or you are in the middle of a complex garment, this is a place to find community, troubleshoot technical hurdles, and share inspiration.

Our gatherings are part social hour and part hands-on workshop. We host regular sessions where we focus on specific skills like tailoring, bag making, or basic machine maintenance, but we always leave plenty of room for open sewing time. The goal is to build a supportive circle of makers where we can learn from each other’s expertise and keep our projects moving forward. If you have been looking for a reason to finally finish that pile of fabric in your closet, we would love to have you join us.
