About us
Welcome to Stitch Together The Basics Social Club. This group is for anyone who has been wanting to learn how to sew but has not known where to start, or for those who have a machine gathering dust and need a little encouragement to get it threaded. Our goal is to create a relaxed, low-pressure space where we can work through the fundamentals together, share tips, and troubleshoot those inevitable beginner frustrations.
We meet regularly to practice essential skills like hemming, repairing small tears, or getting comfortable with basic machine operation. You do not need to be an expert to join; in fact, the group is meant for people who are just picking up a needle for the first time. Bring your current project, your questions, or just yourself, and let us help each other get comfortable with the craft. We look forward to meeting you and getting started.
