About us

Great movies, in great theaters, with great people. That’s the mission. A club filled with film-lovers (and film-likers) that meets every week to watch a movie in theaters! We’ll hang out before/after each showing to talk about movies, life, and just get to know each other. I schedule a good mixture of new and old releases, and try to balance genres. We also schedule events outside the theater like our popular ‘Outdoor Movie Nights’ at Tower Grove Park! This is a great way to meet new people and socialize!

I'm getting a little burnt out on summer movie season, so let's check out this little indie that has some good buzz. We'll meet at Fox & Hounds Tavern for some food and drink at 7:15, before walking over to Hi Pointe around 8pm for the 8:15 showing. After the movie, we'll circle up outside for a quick discussion under the Hi Pointe marquee.

Join us for a relaxed Saturday morning that combines one of St. Louis' best nature areas with a fun, buzzy summer thriller!

We'll meet at 9:00 AM at Powder Valley Conservation Nature Center (11715 Cragwold Rd, Kirkwood, MO 63122), where everyone can enjoy the morning at their own pace. Pro-tip: grab a coffee and snack from Teleo Coffee on your way out there.

If you'd like, you can explore the wooded trails and get a short hike in before the movie. I'm hoping we'll get a cooler late summer morning but if not, you're just as welcome to stay inside the beautiful conservation center, check out the exhibits, and relax in the air conditioning while chatting with the group.

Around 10:30 AM, we'll leave and head over to Ronnie's to grab some food, catch up, and get settled before the 11:40 AM showing of The End of Oak Street.

Everyone loves a Saturday night horror movie! The trailer for this looks great, and I think Jane Schoenbrun is one of our most interesting young directors, so I'm excited! We're going to switch things up this time and have some food/cocktails at Rockwell Beer company on Vandeventer from 7:45-9:00. Then, we'll make the short trip up to the Alamo for the showing at 9:30 pm, and circle up for a bit outside after the movie.

I'm in Row 3 seat 12. It's a small-ish theatre, so get your tickets ASAP! Hope to see you all there!
