The Saint Louis PowerShell User Group (STLPSUG) is a community organization for Systems Administrators, Developers, Engineers, Help Desk Technicians - anyone and everyone whose day-to-day life and productivity can be improved by the use of PowerShell. The focus of this organization is building a strong and helpful community around best practices and continual improvement of skill sets and knowledge base. Monthly meetings will feature guest speakers, script sharing, demos, presentations, and deep dives. The STLPSUG will also host Accelerator meetups with the explicit goal of helping people in the community get started with PowerShell or to help them learn new concepts or break down roadblocks to their learning. A Location for the meetups has not yet been finalized; Suggestions are welcome and everyone is encouraged to attend.
Join us this quarter to hear Ken Kogler talk about Using Operational Validation for AD User Health
Building on the techniques presented by Michael Lombardi at our August meeting, we will walk through the process of designing and coding a solution to use Operational Validation techniques to ensure that all users in an organization are properly created and configured.
A broad range of topics will be covered including Active Directory user and group objects, Exchange Online, Office 365 licensing, OVF modules, how to communicate validation results to managers and helpdesk staff, and more.
Just so you know, we have moved to quarterly meetups.
