ScriptAsService with Mike Lombardi

Hello again, folks! This month, we're meeting up again at Maritz to talk about the ScriptAsService PowerShell module, which will let you take a looping script and turn it into an installable binary which will run as a service. Mike Lombardi will walk us through the project and use cases you might find it valuable for.

When you come into the lobby at Maritz there will be someone to direct you up to the room and give you badges to get past security.

This month is also the Automation Management Summit (http://www.ams2017.com/), a free conference in STL centered on automation and windows environments (which, of course, means it will be PowerShell heavy). I'll be there, as will Michael Greene (a PM on the PowerShell team who has been a steady attendee of ours for a long time) and Rob Reynolds (the inventor/founder of Chocolatey (https://chocolatey.org/)) - both of whom will be speaking. I'll be running around attending sessions and working the PSUG booth, but I'll also be giving this same talk during a lunch session. Feel free to attend either/both sessions! I'll be livestreaming the one at Maritz!
