Dungeons & Dragons & Development with Mike Lombardi
Details
Our Monthly Meetup!
This month Mike Lombardi is going to give a preview of his PowerShell Summit talk, D&D&D: How Playing Games Makes You a Better Engineer.
This talk will cover the very basics of what tabletop roleplaying is, then expand on how it helps you practice critical engineering (both software and operations!) skills. He'll enliven each skill with a story from real-life play and explain how these lessons translate back into our work as IT Pros using examples from incident response, customer support, and feature implementation.
As usual, we'll have food, drinks, and time / space to chat and help each other out. This month's meetup will not be livestreamed since Mike is giving this talk in two weeks at the Summit.
