Detecting suspicious activity early in your data is crucial to prevent fraud in your business. This talk explores how in-database machine learning algorithms can be used to detect anomalies. We will create a step-by-step SQL-based workflow to train and use a model for fraud detection on a sample dataset. Oracle Machine Learning for SQL (OML4SQL) will be used, and Oracle APEX will show graphs of the results.

In addition to the many qualities of APEX, there is one feature that has not yet been supported: offline capability.

For this reason, developers have so far refrained from creating APEX pages that can be used without an active connection.
However, after several customer projects with precisely this requirement, we have now come to the conclusion that it is indeed possible to make an APEX application offline-capable using appropriate means.
