Polyglot Evening - French: What makes it unique? 🇫🇷

🌍 Welcome to another Polyglot Evening at Marie Laveu bar!🌍

The event will take place downstairs, in the karaoke room!

The evening starts with some mingle and then an introduction by Jonatan, the organizer. It will be followed by Antoine’s presentation ”French - what makes it unique?” 🇫🇷 🗣️ 🗯️🎤

After 20.00, we will have time for language tables (with flags on each table representing various languages), for you to practise languages at.
We also have a corner for socialising (in any language) 😃🗣️🙌🏽

As usual we would be glad to have volunteers to be responsible for some language tables (native speakers or advanced level speakers) in order to make it easier for beginners to practise the language.

And that’s not all! For those who want to continue the fun after 22.00, karaoke will be available, for some additional fun!

19.00-19.40: Mingle, introduction
19.40-20.00: French - What makes it unique? 🇫🇷 (Antoine)
20.00-21.30: Language tables
22.00- Karaoke 🎤🎼🎹

It will take place in a spaceous room downstairs (the karaoke room) just for us, complete with several tables for both sitting and standing.

Location: Marie Laveau, Hornsgatan 66b
(Close to metro station Mariatorget)

💡 Practical info

We have a small membership and event fee to help keep our Polyglot Evenings running smoothly:

• Membership: 300 SEK/year – includes all events (this time it covers both 2025-2026!)
• Single event fee: 40 SEK/event (if you’re not a member).
• First time? Your first Polyglot Evening is free! 🎉

Payment can be made via Swish on site – or via bank transfer if you don’t have Swish. Thank you for supporting the community – it helps us keep creating fun and inspiring Polyglot Evenings! 🌍✨ Our goal is to make a meaningful linguistic and social impact in Stockholm.
