What we’re about
Welcome to the Stockton Area Atheists and Freethinkers!
We are a group of non-believers that focuses on community involvement, social events, education and information, and activism.
Most of our meetings are held in San Joaquin County, from Lodi to Manteca -- though we occasionally join efforts with our friends in Modesto, Sacramento, and the Bay Area.
We have a number of repeating events, including "Drinking Skeptically", game night, brunch, highway cleanup, colloquium, and more.
The Stockton Area Atheists and Freethinkers has no monthly dues, and no mandatory attendance. We're just looking for like-minded people who believe in good.
Be sure to follow us on Facebook, too.
Sincerely,
David Diskin

✈️ Aerospace Museum of California
It's been a while since we've had a family-friendly outing, and the Aerospace Museum of California (in Sacramento) is the perfect destination to make that happen.
The museum has all kinds of hands-on exhibits for all ages eager to learn about math, space, and engineering.
👩🏻🔬 Math Alive! Exhibit
We'll be visiting while Math Alive is at the museum. Ride in a live-action snowboard race, control a Mars rover, record your own weather telecast, and more. Experience real math at work in sports, nature, robotics, music, dancing, movie-making, and more with dozens of immersive interactive exhibits.
🎫 Tickets
Tickets are $17 for adults and $15 for youth. There are discounts for veterans ($10) and teachers ($10). Active military and museum members get in free. You can buy tickets in advance or at the door.
🍽️ Meet Up for Lunch?
If you want, we can meet for lunch at 11 AM at the Papaya and Noodle Shack, right off Highway 80 and Watt Ave. The museum is about 10 minutes away.
