California Coastal Cleanup at Lodi Lake
Each year, thousands of volunteers join together to remove trash and recyclables from rivers, lakes, watersheds, and parks throughout California on the same day!
We've pulled appliances, cigarette butts, beverage cans, baby diapers, tires, furniture, and more from our local water. Pollutants such as these make for an unhealthy environment for everyone.
Come out on the third Saturday of September and take part in a state-wide effort to clean up!
🚮 Participation
When you arrive, text David at 209-610-0651 for the group's location if you can't find us. Please don't arrive any later than 8:15 AM.
🎗️ Helpful Tips
Things to Bring:
- Sunscreen and a Hat
- Comfortable Shoes
- Water Bottle
- Your SAAF T-Shirt (if you have one)
An adult should supervise children at all times. Be careful near levees. DO NOT attempt to remove dangerous or heavy items yourself.
We'll have our own grabbers and buckets, but you're welcome to bring more.

We'll discuss where to meet for brunch as we wrap-up the event. *A portion of our tab will be reimbursed by California Freethought Day! 🎈
