SkeptiCal is the scientific skepticism conference brought to you by Northern California Skeptics.

The SkeptiCal Conference brings stimulating and entertaining speakers to a world-wide audience of science fans, critical thinkers, and, in the words of Carl Sagan, questioners of “extraordinary claims”. Join us for an engaging day of speakers and discussions. And – test your wits at SkeptiCal’s popular Skepardy! game.

🎫 Tickets

Admission is $75 (adult) and $25 (student), but there is a $25 discount (for adults) if you purchase your ticket before August 1.

Tickets should be purchased online (in advance) through their website.

🎊 Oakland Chinatown StreetFest

The Oakland Chinatown 36th StreetFest will be happening that same day. This event is known for having lots of food vendors.

🚘 Parking

Traffic and parking may be challenging. Because of the event, if you plan to drive, it is strongly recommended that you reserve your parking through sites such as Parkopedia (for parking at the venue) or Spot Hero (for other parking lots) after purchasing your tickets.
