StrangerChess is a daily chess meetup welcoming any and all experience levels. No matter if you just watched The Queen's Gambit and want to learn how to play, the last time you played was as a kid, or you have been playing regularly for years — join us!

DAILY — 7PM TILL 10PM The event is held every day of the week. You can drop in whenever — no registration required. Simply show up between 7 pm and 10 pm and join the games. Boards, sets, and clocks are provided.

FRIENDLY — ALL LEVELS WELCOME As a beginner, we can pair you with other newcomers, and our host can give you a crash course on the basics. Players of all ages and levels attend, including young children. The atmosphere is relaxed and supportive — attendees love sharing tips, discussing strategies, and building friendships over the board.

COZY INDOOR VENUE A perfect winter haven for coffee lovers and chess enthusiasts. Grab a coffee, enjoy homemade snacks and drinks (hot & cold), and settle in for an evening of chess. The café welcomes guests who want to linger — ideal for quick games or staying the whole evening. Check the café menu beforehand if you’d like.

OFFLINE — REAL PIECES, REAL PEOPLE In a screen-dominated world, this is a chance to connect face-to-face, forge real friendships, and enjoy a healthy, balanced break from devices.
