    Join us for an evening of board gaming and beer at Blue Blaze Brewing just 5 minutes northwest of Uptown Charlotte. These events are held on the fourth Wednesday of the month (unless otherwise scheduled and posted here). We have two large tables reserved, each comfortably accommodates 10-12 people. Smaller tables are also available. Please save the large tables for games of 5-6 players. A food truck will be on site for walk-up service. We are currently limiting this event to 24 attendees, so please keep up with any changes to your RSVP and respect the wait list. This event may grow in size in the future. This is an age 21+ event.   • ANNUAL MEETING of the Queen City Game Club

    THIS MEETUP IS FOR DUES PAYING MEMBERS ONLY. THANKS! Please join us for our annual membership meeting. We will give a brief report on the state of the club and hold elections for three seats on the QCGC Board of Directors. Then we'll play games! If you paid your $25 in dues last year and/or wish to pay this year, you are invited to this annual membership meeting. Why pay dues? Our dues are completely voluntary, but your $25 contribution to the club helps us keep the club growing. Meetup Fees cost us about $240 per year. Other IT fees (email, PayPal, web domain) run about $170 per year. We spend $75 to $100 on advertising. And these funds can also help us provide promotional gifts and prize support for our special events and add games to our library for our community teaching projects.     Piedmont Social House

    Come join us for Beer & Boardgames at the Piedmont Social House! This Saturday event starts at 11am and will be in the upstairs social room. The Social House has an expansive menu available for food and drinks. No outside food or drinks are permitted. Parking is available at the lot behind the building, and in the parking deck. Please observe all posted signs for restricted parking slots. Outside of the 2 hour restricted parking marked in red, most of the parking deck spots are open on the weekend. They are only limited Monday to Friday. We will have a table available if anyone has games they would like to trade or sell. Please make sure to tag them in some manner with your name, asking price and phone number. This is an age 21+ event.     Come join us at our event in Uptown Charlotte, at Fitzgerald's Irish Pub (http://www.fitzgeraldscharlotte.com/) off College Street. Come over right after work, drive in or take the light rail and meet us for a great night of gaming and $3 draft beer specials! FREE PARKING You can park in the Wake Forest University Charlotte Center Garage (http://charlotte.wfu.edu/parking-and-map/), accessible from 5th or 6th street, just behind Fitzgerald's. Fitzgerald's will validate your parking after 5pm. Just bring your parking stub inside. ABOUT THE SPACE Fitzgerald's lets us use their inner semi-private meeting room, on your right when you walk past the bar. It's got PLENTY of table space and TV's for watching sports, plus a couple of servers waiting on just our group. If you stick around to 8:30 - 9 PM, they also have free Music Bingo which you can play and win some credit! Lighting and volume are adjustable for this semi-private area, which we'll have all to ourselves! ABOUT THE GAMING This is an age 21+ event.
