IN CASE YOU MISSED IT. I sent an email to all Street Clubbers announcing what was going to happen to Street Club... Here it is:

Greetings Street Clubbers,

Thank you all for being members of Street Club. I’ve run around 220 meet-ups over the last 5 years (sheesh), and while I haven’t met all of you, there are many of you I have met many times, and it’s been an absolute pleasure!

I have big news for you - and that is that from 23rd of August Street Club will no longer be on meetup.com. The main reasons I’ve decided to leave the platform are: 1. It’s not very cost effective 2. You can’t reply to my emails because they go to an email address meetup.com keeps secret! (don’t ask me, I’ve tried to ask them!) 3. Customer support is non-existent now (there’s no way to contact them anymore)

But IT IS NOT OVER! No!!! Several of you are already subscribing to my street photography website: www.thephotoweekender.com and I would like to invite you ALL to sign up!

I will be rebranding the whole site soon, but I will keep you up-to-date about all of that too. Exciting street photography times ahead! So you will still be able to attend events with me, just as you did on meetup.com, except you will be a member of Street Club at The Photo Weekender instead.

But your should know that because Street Club will be deleted from meetup.com on 23rd August it’s important that you go and save any photos or feedback that you would like to keep. Also, reach out to any members you’d like to keep in touch with, that you haven’t already exchanged your deets with!
