What we’re about

The aim of the group is to bring together passionate street photographers in order to organise short and long weekend trips to the most buzzing cities in the UK and Europe. We're a very friendly group, which is important, as street photography is best enjoyed with other people! Our members range from novices to professional photographers, all with shared interest in street photography. As every member is different and has unique preferences: some like portraits, candid or architecture, most of our trips don't have set theme. This allows us to find new individual inspiration each time. All types of cameras are welcome, from smartphones to DSLRs. The trips are informal and allow the members to intract with the group as much or as little as they like. We often manage to engage local photography enthusiasts to join us and enhance our experience by their knowledge of the shooting locations and places to eat. RULES: Street photography involves taking candid shots of people. Therefore, if you attend our events, there is a good chance you will be photographed and your photo posted on meetup or used on social media. By attending our events, you give your consent to that. This group is not to be used for self-promotion, or for recruiting group members for your own purposes. Please avoid taking photos of children without their parent’s consent. This is a societal rule, not a group rule. Please respect other members of the group: their photography style, quality of their shots and their equipment, avoid blocking their shots or getting in their way. Let's go out and enjoy photography!
