Stroke of Luck Golfers:

The Escape to Wisconsin trip is now open for sign-ups. This is a bucket list trip to a golf destination just making its way onto the map. It offers us the opportunity to play # 28, # 29, # 49, # 75 and # 98 listed in the top 100 golf courses by Golf Digest. The pricing is not 100% because Sand Valley has not determined their 2026 rates for us yet.

Courses will include:

  • Erin Hills - 2017 US Open and 2025 Women's US Open
  • Whistling Straits - 2021 Ryder Cup, PGA Championship 2015
  • Black Wolf Run - 1998 and 2012 Women's US Open
  • Sand Valley - Bandon Dunes Wisconsin (Sand Valley and Mammoth Dunes courses)
  • Pine Hills Country Club - Top 10 Wisconsin course & 100 year old private country club

Based on what I have booked right now the package will include EIGHT nights accommodation and SIX rounds of golf. We will spend 7 nights at Sheboygan's Blue Harbor Resort which rivals the hotel Del Coronado in style, look and feel. All rooms will have lake views which are stunning. Our last night will be at the lodges at Sand Valley (everyone will need to share with someone).

This is estimated at $4,800 for single occupancy and $3,600 for double occupancy. This does not include airfare, rental car, food/beverage, sightseeing or caddy fees. A similar package was offered to us Farms members at $6,450 per person this year.
