RAMS HILL PARTNER ECLECTIC MAJOR TOURNAMENT

What better way to spend two February winter days (in southern California) than in Borrego Springs at Rams Hill? NOTHING COULD BE BETTER!

I have booked a stay and play package which includes 2 rounds of golf (normal rate of $250 for each round) and 1 night accommodation at the Borrego Springs Resort. Tee will start at 9:50 am on Saturday and 8:20 on Sunday. There are FREE REPLAYS on Saturday!

The price is $520 based on double golfer occupancy or $625 based on single golfer occupancy. Its a really good price for prime time in Borrego Springs! If you are going double occupancy you pay for the golf at $250 a round and you stay in the hotel for $20.00! The price also includes your cart, practice facility use, taxes, tacos and cookies!

If you have not played RAMS HILL it is a MUST PLAY...a luxurious course that is rated in the top 100 of US public courses by Golf Digest! If you have played it, then you know how pristine this course is with some great Fazio holes all while presenting a fair and sturdy golf challenge.

This event will be a two day NET PARTNER ECLECTIC. If you don't have a partner we will find you one. The winning team will qualify for the Club Championship as well as win some CASH! Other side bets will not be frowned upon nor will carpooling!

Non-golfing guests are welcome and can join you. Just book the $625 rate single room rate.

We will have dinner at Rams Hill and much golf story telling and banter between our rounds of golf.

Definition of a Partner Eclectic

An eclectic tournament (in this case) is a two round golf tournament that results in one 18-hole score per team. Each golfer will play 2 rounds, and each golfer compares his/her NET score on each hole per round. The lowest score made on each hole is recorded, producing an 18-hole score that is the combined effort of both players over the 2 day tournament.

For example, in the first round, the first golfer scores (all NET) a 6 on hole No. 1; in Round 2, the first golfer scores a 4 on hole No. 1. The second golfer has a 7 in Round 1 hole No. 1; and a 5 on Hole No. 1 for Round 2. The lowest of those four scores on the first hole is a 4, so that is the team's eclectic score. It is the best score on each hole with a total of 4 chances to achieve it.
