A Gathering for Spiritual Exploration
Sapientia is a friendly discussion group for those interested in exploring spiritual questions, personal growth, and the deeper dimensions of human experience. Through shared reading and thoughtful conversation, we seek a deeper understanding of consciousness, meaning, the purpose of art, and the reality of the invisible or spiritual world. Our discussions will draw from the writings of Emanuel Swedenborg, Thomas Aquinas, Jacques Maritain, Federico Faggin, along with other philosophers, and spiritual thinkers whose work offers meaningful insights into consciousness, creativity, spirituality, and the nature of reality. The format is simple and participatory. Participants are invited to bring a short passage to read and discuss together. We will explore its meaning, consider different interpretations, and reflect on its relevance to everyday life. No prior knowledge of the authors is required. Listening is as welcome as speaking.
The purpose of the group is not to promote a particular doctrine, but to foster thoughtful inquiry, mutual learning, personal growth, and friendship in a spirit of openness, curiosity, and respect. |
