Intro To Zine-Making: Cut, Paste, Publish

Ever wanted to make your own mini publication? Join us for a playful, hands-on workshop where we dive into the world of zines: self-published booklets that are all about creativity, self-expression, and community.
We’ll start by exploring the history and culture of zines, and go over the different types of zines you can create, from personal and political zines to art books and mini comics.
You’ll also learn a few simple folding and binding techniques, like the 8-page mini zine from a single sheet, accordion folds, and more.
Then, you'll make your very own zine using collage, writing, drawing, or anything in between. No pressure to “get it right”—just a space to explore and create.
