Hand-Stitched Zines Workshop

Learn how to create handmade zines using paper, needle, and thread in this beginner-friendly workshop focused on slow craft and storytelling
In this session, we’ll explore zine-making through simple hand stitching, learning how to bind folded pages together using an easy, accessible stitch technique. Rather than focusing on perfection, this workshop embraces visible stitches, texture, and the beauty of handmade work.
Participants will create their own zine from start to finish, folding pages, adding content through drawing, writing and collaging and binding everything together by hand. Prompts will be provided to help you get started, but you’re welcome to follow your own ideas and work at your own pace.
No sewing or bookbinding experience is required. This workshop is designed for writers, artists, and anyone curious about tactile, paper-based making.
