Writers' Circle at Studio Kash | Remix Night

A playful and experimental session where we step away from the pressure of starting from scratch and instead transform what already exists.
Drawing from established writing techniques like blackout poetry (a form of found poetry), the cut-up method, and creative rewriting, this session explores how writers can break out of patterns and discover unexpected meaning through rearrangement, removal, and perspective shifts. These approaches have been used by poets and authors to spark new ideas, challenge routine thinking, and reconnect with writing as a creative practice.
Through a series of guided exercises, you’ll experiment with language in new ways: cutting, remixing, and reimagining text to create something entirely your own.
