Join Melissa Dennihy for a creative writing workshop exploring identity, growth, and self through guided prompts.

Who are you on the page?
Join instructor Melissa Dennihy for an evening of reflection, storytelling, and creative exploration as we use writing to better understand ourselves and the experiences that have shaped us. Through thoughtfully guided prompts inspired by writers such as Lily King, Maggie Smith, and Derek Walcott, you'll have the opportunity to begin—or continue—developing a memoir, short story, poem, personal essay, or any creative work centered on identity, growth, memory, and change.

This workshop is open to beginners and experienced writers alike. No prior writing experience is needed—only a willingness to explore the form and be part of a creative community! Practicing writers are welcome to bring works-in-progress related to the theme to workshop and discuss with fellow participants.

What to expect:

  • Guided creative writing prompts
  • Time to write and reflect
  • Optional sharing and group discussion
  • Personalized notebook & pen included for each first time attendee!
