Bistro Bar Les Soeurs Grises
An artisan microbrewery with unique, savory beers and local "smokehouse" inspired cuisine. Brewed in the heart of the Old Montreal, their beers were elaborated religiously for the past decade. Whether you choose traditional beers or more unorthodox ones, their cuisine will know how to match them, all in a chic and relaxed ambiance, enough for a sister to rescind her vows.

The Program
Intro Game: Subjectify Me!
Start the evening with a fun twist on speed-friending. You’ll receive a list of philosophical perspectives: consequentialist, rationalist, cynic, stoic, and more. Your mission: mingle and match the labels to fellow guests.
Moment of Philosophy
Just in case you were running out of things to talk about, we’ll pause for a short interlude to explore a philosopher or school of thought that feels eerily relevant to this moment in time. This won't be on the pop quiz so lean back, learn something meaningful, and reflect before the discussion continues.
Truth or Derrida
The philosophy showdown where ideas get deconstructed and dignity goes missing. Each round, our host serves up a school of thought—existentialism, nihilism, maybe even that one French guy who hated clarity. Performers must pick their poison: deliver a half-baked, on-the-spot lecture or spill an awkward personal confession about how the philosophy did (or definitely didn’t) help them. Part salon, part confessional, all ridiculous. No one leaves unchanged, and no one leaves smarter.
Open Discussion
The rest of the evening is yours to savour; meeting friends, having thoughtful discussion, and enjoying fine food and drinks.
Public Transit is Available
You may have heard that the STM is on strike starting June 9th, however due to Grand Prix weekend, bus and metro service WILL BE RUNNING NORMALLY on June 13th.
