This ride is a multi-level group night ride for riders who can maintain a minimum of 12 mph or more over relatively flat terrain ( the Schuykill River Trail) for 27 miles. This ride requires front and rear lights as we are riding after sunset in the fall season. I highly suggest using both handlebar lights and a helmet light for the greatest night time visibility. I found a 1000 lumens light on Amazon for $35 that can be used as either a handlebar light or a helmet light. Its called "Funwict Helmet Light". Great value and versatility since it comes with both the handlebar and helmet mounting brackets.

The route is designed as an "out and back" ride using the exact same roads on the way out to the Philadelphia Art Museum area and the way back to Conshohocken. It's a relatively flat route mainly along the SRT and MLK Drive. It averages only 35 feet / mile of climbing. The ride format will be to start the faster ride groups out first at 6:30 pm sharp followed by the slowest 12-13 mph group at 6:35 pm. The rwgps route shown above is the same route we'll use every Monday night. Since the rwgps route essentially follows the Norristown-Manyunk train line this provides other cyclists an easy way to join us along the route as we head out to the Philly Art Museum area ( Lloyd Hall). Once we arrive at Lloyd we'll take a 5 minute bathroom / water break before returning back to Conshohocken. Pick up locations and approximate pick up times where you can join us are as follows:

Note: pick up times below are for the slowest 12-13 mph ride group. Meet us directly on the SRT, not in the train station parking lots.Show up earlier if you plan to ride with one of the faster ride groups.
