Hike Moderate Pace on Moderate Trails, 5.5 miles.

Meet at Bruno's, Northwestern and Germantown Aves. The hike leaves at 10:00 am. Taking advantage of clear, sunny skies today, to enjoy Mother Nature along the peaceul Wissahickon. Relatively easy hike, mostly along the Forbidden Drive, from Northwestern Ave to the Valley Green Inn, and back. The Valley Green Inn will be decorated for the holidays. On the return, we can peel off Forbidden Drive and do a little bit on some of the higher trails, if hikers prefer. (Route can be adjusted, depending on hikers' preferences.) Optional post-hike coffee/snack at Bruno's Restaurant. TREKKING POLES and ICE CLEATS are strongly recommended for safety, due to snow/ice-covered trails.
