Ridley Creek SP White Trail Loop
Details
Come join us for a 'walk in the woods' at Ridley Creek State Park. The White Trail passes through varied woodland habitat and includes a scenic stretch along the Creek. It is quiet and well-marked with rolling terrain and good footing.
The White Trail itself is only 4.2 miles. However, there will be some added distance since it does not pass near our meeting point at the only parking lot with year-round toilets. If the trail conditions are difficult, there are numerous opportunities to shorten the total distance. There will be a short standing break about midway for water and snacks.
Sturdy footwear and Ice Trekkers (or equivalent) required. You can decide when and if to wear your Ice Trekkers, but you should have them with you. Trekking poles and gaiters suggested.
