Memorial Ride for Joe Kenas

Cyclists from both SCU and Guy's Racing will gather for a service to remember Joe Kenas. His crash and subsequent passing has affected members of both groups. We will gather on our bikes at the Wissahickon Trails Four Mills building on Morris Road. There will be some words of remembrance followed by a slow silent ride past a roadside ghost bike placed at the crash site.

Riders will turn left onto Morris Road from Wissahickon Trails and ride slowly in silence for about one half mile past the ghost bike. The silent ride will conclude by turning right on Sheaff Lane, after which riders may continue riding on their own route.

Please ride your bike to this event. There is only a small parking lot at Wissahickon Trails which is used by walkers on the Green Ribbon Trail. The nearest public parking is at the Septa Ambler Station which costs $2. (They now charge on weekends.)
